| Description | Bradford Gold is made of glasswool and is made up of very thin glass fibres that are spun like fairy floss to generate millions of air spaces. These air pockets are poor heat conductors and prevent air or radiation from passing through the insulation. Bradford Gold are fantastic goods for anyone who are aware of their environmental footprint because they are constructed from 80% recycled glass. Bradford Gold Ceiling Batts have R-values ranging from 2.5 to 4.1. R-values are used to assess a material's thermal resistance. The higher the R-value, the better the insulation. Choosing the right R-value for your room might be tricky because it depends on the spacing between the walls. The Building Code of Australia (BCA) establishes minimum R-value criteria.
